Marketing Method

Lesson 9: Time to get MAD with your marketing

One thing that I really hate doing is wasting time.  All of us are guilty of filling in our spare time with things like checking email, checking Facebook, reading blogs...the non essentials.  What I want to teach you about is focusing and an schedule where you get articles research, written, submitted and social bookmarked.

The best way to do this is a written schedule of "important" tasks and "non important tasks".   This way you get to the important things first and you don't was all of your time doing the unimportant things (like checking your email).

Examples of the important ACTION tasks:

(1) Writing Articles
(2) Submitting Articles
(3) Bookmarking your Articles

Examples of important RESEARCH tasks:

(1) Researching Keywords
(2) Researching Content
(3) Find Relevant Affiliate Programs

Tasks to AVOID when working on your MAD Marketing Campaigns:

(1) Checking your email
(2) Chatting with your friends on Facebook
(3) Download Music
(4) Reading Online News

Notice that I broke down tasks into action and research tasks.   50% of your time should be invested into the action component and 50% should be spent on the research.  This is the best combination for efficiency and for productivity.

Work only 1 hour per day and product amazing results! (based on working only 4 days per week)

Day 1 (55 minutes):

  • choose 3 things you are interested in (5 minutes)
  • come up with 5 good keywords within each of these, total 15 (15 minutes)
  • research the first keyword for content development (10 minutes)
  • find a relevant affiliate program on Clickbank* and gather link (5 minutes)
  • write the article (20 minutes)
  • submit the article to goarticles.com (5 minutes)

Day 2 (60 minutes):

  • research the 2nd keyword for content (10 minutes)
  • find relevant affiliate program (5 minutes)
  • write the article (20 minutes)
  • submit the article to goarticles.com (5 minutes)
  • social bookmark your first 2 articles using Digg.com and one other bookmarking site (10 minutes)
  • join 2 more social bookmarking sites (10 minutes)

Day 3 (70 minutes):

  • research 3rd keyword content (10 minutes)
  • find relevant affiliate program (5 minutes)
  • write the article (20 minutes)
  • research 4th keyword content (10 minutes)
  • write the article (20 minutes)
  • find relevant affiliate program (5 minutes)

Day 4 (65 minutes):

  • submit the 3rd article to goarticles.com (5 minutes)
  • submit the 4th article to goarticles.com (5 minutes)
  • social bookmark 3rd article on 3 sites (10 minutes)
  • social bookmark 4th article on 3 sites (10 minutes)
  • research the 5th keyword content (10 minutes)
  • find relevant affiliate program (5 minutes)
  • write the article (20 minutes)
  • submit 5th article to goarticles.com

After just four days following this program, you have research, created and submitted 5 articles.  Now that is some great earning potential!  This is only using goarticles.com, but that is perfectly fine.

There are a lot of articles (within all niches on goarticles.com) with 50,000+ views! If you were to pay for this type of traffic you would be looking at least $0.50 per click using Google Adwords, so essentially this individual got $25,000 in free traffic.

I know...hard to even comprehend!

Let's say you have a decent promotion in place within your Author Bio and you are converting at 1:50 (pretty average).  A single article can bring you in 1000 sales!  That is over $37,000 in commissions for writing ONE article.

Do you have the time to write articles? LOL.

This is the power of writing these articles and you never know when your "super traffic" article is going make its way into the search engines.

You will gain more experience and grow as you move forward.  If you follow this schedule for one month alone, you will have 20 articles out there getting traffic and likely sales.  If you spend just a little more time and dedicate 8 hours per week to this, your income potential doubles!

You have some serious potential!  Give yourself some credit!
