Lesson 3: Choose what you enjoy, what you smile about
 

 

If you are not having fun doing something, why bother? 

I know this goes against the conventional "job" criteria that people can typically relate to, but earning a living online should be fun. When you are having fun, your potential for success goes up 10 fold!

 
 

 

So how do you have fun?

The first thing that I suggest to you is choosing a niche that you are interested in.  People tend to worry so much about having the perfect niche (or the most profitable one), when the reality of success online roots from "understanding the niche".

If you hate sports, why would you try to promote it...because someone tells you it is hot? Knitting or Scrapbooking may be more your cup of tea.  Maybe you like football, college football.  Maybe you like everything about dieting.  Maybe you like tractor trailers?

Smoking for crying out loud is a niche...so is stopping this bad habit!

So your step today is to write down 3 niches/industries that you are interested in and that you would enjoy writing about.

I will give you a second before I move on here, so grab a pen and paper right now and WRITE THESE down.  This will be your starting point for implementing the Mad Marketing Method (MMM)!

If you are still banging your head against the wall at this point, I am going to give you a niche that I know well and that is a billion dollar per year online niche.

I want to let you in on a little secret here that you may not learn elsewhere.

A niche is not your path to success.  There isn't any special formula or recipe for choosing a Niche.  Money can be made by selling anything, to anyone online.  Success all comes down to the way you market the product to the audience you choose.  A niche that you enjoy talking and writing about is your path to success because you will take action and be able to help people make informed purchase decisions.
