Lesson 6: Submitting the Article

Now for the why...

By signing-up to goarticles.com, you are gaining the ability to post articles on their website.  The reason this is really powerful is that they have spent a good deal of time, money and resources on getting their site ranked high within Google and other search engines.

By placing your content on your site you get to benefit from their hard work.  You get to get listed under keywords that would typically take months, if not years to naturally SEO into these search engines if you tried to do it with your own website.

But why would they want you to post content on their site?  Because they get paid from ads that run along side your articles. 

So how do you earn money from your articles?

You earn money from your articles by making recommendations to products via your affiliate links.  Remember when I got you to sign-up to one of the 6 affiliates within the second lesson?  This immediately gave you access to programs to promote.(After you ordered one of the ebooks or became an affiliate with Global Domains International)

Now, let's take another quick look at my articles that I wrote and submitted so I can show you exactly where I put the affiliate links.

The Submission Process

When you are logged into your GoArticles account, you will want to click the link "Add a New Article"

Title: This should have the exact keywords within it and should be a catchy title.
Author Name: Goarticles allows you to change your author pen name to whatever you like within each new article.
Author Bio: This is where you ad your affiliate links...and ultimately your offer!

As you can see the text surrounded by tags becomes the link text.  Ideally you want to make this text an action such as "click" "join" "find out" or make the link text target your exact keywords you are targeting.

 

 

Article: The actual 400-500 word article you wrote.
Category (drop downs): You choose the most appropriate section your article should be in.

Now you know how to submit an article.  Congratulate yourself...this is a big accomplishment and is going to allow you to earn a bunch of money online!
